While hanging out at HQ, Leo and Shadow Man get a call from Planet Turbine’s Commissioner, asking for their help! The cotton candy surface of his planet has started to melt and form latex!
Our heroes must help the Turbinians find out how this is happening and turn the now not-so-fluffy ground back to its natural state! The ground had turned from its natural fluffy texture to liquid then to latex!
After accepting the task, Shadow Man begins to research the details surrounding the first time this bizarre incident occurred just after the first Turbinians terra-formed the planet. At that time, Shadow Woman, Shadow Man’s birth mother and one of the original Squad for Good members, used her power of communicating with the elements to discover the cause and how to reverse the effects! After determining that the change was caused by a solar storm, she crafted two moon-bustion seeds. Though she only needed one, a backup seed is always a good idea.
She planted the moon-bustion seed just below the surface, and when it ignited the ground vibrated and changed to a powder blue liquid then quickly to its original vibrant teal cotton candy-like state before any sinking could take place.
Shadow Man located the second moon-bustion seed at HQ, and jumped in his space jet to deliver the seed to Turbine. He delivered it to the Commissioner, who knew exactly what to do.
Realizing that Shadow Man has the situation under control, Leo decides to sit alone and mumble to himself about the future.
Shadow Man, being of the humble sort, immediately returned to HQ after the handoff without creating a big “I’M A HERO!” spectacle.
A week later, a certificate arrived at HQ informing Shadow Man that he is now an honorary citizen of Planet Turbine!
